CASPER, Wyo. (WKRC) — A 30-year-old woman missing for three days was found dead in a vehicle on Casper Mountain Road on Sunday.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the area around 9:20 a.m. following reports of a vehicle that had left the roadway and breached a guardrail. The vehicle's sole occupant, identified as Kandice Gunter, was at the scene, according to the Casper Police Department.

Gunter was reported missing on Oct. 29 and had last been seen in Natrona County that morning. Authorities stated no evidence of foul play or involvement from another individual has been discovered.

Concerned family members had reported Gunter missing when she failed to pick up her children, ages 9 and 6, from a local Boys & Girls Club. “It's totally out of character for her not to show up to get her kids,” her sister, Kayla Gunter, noted.

Kandice Gunter had relocated to Casper from Nevada approximately a month before her disappearance to be closer to her children. Her sister described her as “a loving, kindhearted person.”

The Natrona County Coroner's Office is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash and Gunter's cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
