Morris County man succumbs to injuries from Sussex County crash.

A Rockaway Township man died from his injuries days after a crash in Lafayette on July 4, according to police.

Timothy Angle, 64, was riding a Victory east on Monroe Road at approximately 6 p.m. when he lost control on a curve, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron reported.

The motorcycle overturned, struck a tree, and Angle from the bike. He was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries on July 9.

Authorities confirmed the incident is still under investigation, with no further details released.

Angle retired from the Rockaway Township Parks and Recreation Department in January after 25 years and was also a member of American Legion Post 91 in Wharton.

He is survived by two children, his mother, three brothers, and several nieces and nephews. Services were held on July 11 and 12.
