LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A collision between a vehicle and a moped resulted in serious injuries to the moped rider on Tuesday afternoon in Henderson.
At approximately 4:30 p.m., the Henderson Police Department responded to the incident at Sunset Road and Annie Oakley Boulevard. The moped rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Eastbound Sunset Road between Pecos Road and Green Valley Parkway was closed to traffic as authorities worked at the scene. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
