Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon on Highway 101 in Southville.
According to the Southville Police Department, units were dispatched around 3:15 p.m. on October 3 to the northbound lanes near mile marker 45 for a reported accident involving three vehicles.
Authorities reported two people sustained injuries, though none were life-threatening.
Emergency medical services transported the injured to Southville Regional Hospital for further evaluation.
Crews worked to clear debris from the road, which caused lane closures for approximately two hours.
The cause of the collision is under investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time.
