MADISON (WKOW) — A 19-year-old man from Madison died in a crash on Midvale Boulevard on March 30.
According to the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office, the incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. Authorities reported that a single vehicle was involved in the crash. The vehicle left the roadway, striking a tree.
Emergency responders from the Madison Fire Department and EMS arrived on the scene shortly after the crash was reported. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses reported that weather conditions were clear at the time of the accident. The Madison Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
No additional injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved. Midvale Boulevard was closed for several hours as authorities conducted their investigation and cleared the scene.
