Montgomery Crash Claims Lives of Two Individuals, Investigation Underway

A two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning on Interstate 85 in Montgomery resulted in the deaths of two individuals. The incident occurred at 2:15 a.m. between Taylor Road and Chantilly Parkway.
According to the Montgomery Police Department, Landon Dunn, 20, and Alyshia Rushing, 26, were both pronounced dead at the scene. Dunn was driving a 2015 Toyota Tacoma, while Rushing was in a 2013 Kia Sorento. A female passenger in Rushing's vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities confirmed that the crash is currently under investigation, with no additional details released regarding the circumstances.
Dunn, a Marine, was reportedly traveling from North Carolina to visit family in Greenville. A GoFundMe page set up for his family highlighted the impact of his loss on friends and loved ones.
