A Massachusetts man died in a two-vehicle crash on Route 119 in Rindge on Wednesday night, according to police.
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. when a collision took place between a sedan and a pickup truck. The driver of the sedan, a 37-year-old man from Massachusetts, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The pickup truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Emergency responders from the Rindge Fire Department and State Police arrived promptly to the scene. Both vehicles were severely damaged, and tow trucks were called to remove them. As a result, Route 119 was closed for several hours while authorities conducted their investigation and cleared the wreckage.
