LMPD Investigates Fatal Crash on Shelbyville Road
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead following a crash early Monday morning on Shelbyville Road. According to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), officers responded to the scene at Shelbyville Road and Bircham Road around 12:18 a.m.
Authorities report that the man was traveling east on Shelbyville Road when he lost control of his vehicle, striking a utility pole and several trees. The impact resulted in his death at the scene; no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is currently investigating the crash.
