WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — A man was charged with driving under the influence following a crash on the Route 37 ramp off I-95 early Thursday morning.
According to Rhode Island State Police, 22-year-old Joshua Bartholomew faces charges for allegedly operating under the influence of liquor and/or drugs. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. near Exit 31.
Authorities reported that the crash was caused by a “wrong way operator.” The driver of the other vehicle involved sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Further details are pending.
