Pensacola police arrested a 23-year-old Friday in Pensacola in connection with a March 18 crash at 9th Avenue and Bayou Boulevard.
According to the Pensacola Police Department, Nickolas Bolton was taken into custody on charges of negligent manslaughter and reckless driving.
Authorities said Bolton was driving a pickup truck southbound on 9th Avenue at a high rate of speed when he ran a red light at Bayou Boulevard, colliding with a car.
Police said the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. The pregnant driver of the car suffered non-life-threatening injuries; her unborn child did not survive.
According to police, the collision involved two vehicles and was recorded by the city's red-light detection cameras.
Authorities said Bolton is being held at the Escambia County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
