SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A longboarder was killed in a collision with a vehicle late Saturday night in Millcreek, according to the Unified Police Department.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:57 p.m. near 971 E. 3900 South. Authorities reported that the longboarder was traveling westbound in the roadway when struck by a westbound vehicle, resulting in an immediate fatality at the scene.
The Multi-Jurisdiction Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Team is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Police have not disclosed the victim's age, gender, or identity pending notification of next of kin. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
