**KINGSTON, Mass. —** A Kingston man was arrested and charged for allegedly crashing his car into a building Wednesday morning.
Brian Dahlen, 45, faces charges including operating under the influence of liquor—his third offense—negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and related counts, according to Kingston Police.
Police responded to a call at approximately 10:30 a.m. reporting a vehicle collision with a brick chimney at 62 Main Street, which houses several businesses. The impact caused a portion of the wall to collapse.
There were no reported injuries from the incident. Authorities noted that Dahlen exhibited signs of impairment, allegedly stating to officers, “I'm [expletive] up.” Witnesses reported he was driving erratically prior to the accident, including instances of driving on the sidewalk.
Dahlen was taken into custody after reportedly returning to his vehicle and telling the officers to “shut up.” He was arraigned in Plymouth District Court.
Dahlen has previous OUI charges from June 30, 2003, and June 28, 2004. No further information is currently available.
