LYNN, MA — A 30-year-old man was killed in a bicycle accident involving a pickup truck Monday night.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Broad Street and Silsbee Street, according to the Essex County District Attorney's Office. A 2025 Honda Ridgeline struck the cyclist.
Emergency responders transported the man to Salem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities are withholding his identity pending family notification.
As of now, there are no indications of pending charges, and the truck remained on the scene as investigators conducted their work. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
