KINGSTON, Mass. — A Kingston man faces multiple charges after crashing his vehicle into a building Wednesday morning.
Brian Dahlen, 45, is charged with his third offense of Operating Under the Influence of Liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and other offenses, according to authorities.
Police responded to reports of a crash at 10:30 a.m. involving a vehicle and a brick chimney at 62 Main Street, which houses several businesses. The impact caused part of the wall to collapse.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
Witnesses stated Dahlen was seen driving erratically before the crash, including moving onto the sidewalk shortly before impact.
Upon arrival, officers observed signs of impairment and reported Dahlen acknowledging his state, saying, “I'm [expletive] up.” He later instructed officers to “shut up” before being taken into custody.
Dahlen has previous OUI charges from June 30, 2003, and June 28, 2004. He was arraigned in Plymouth District Court.
