LOS ANGELES — May 14, 2026 — Kate Beckinsale has joined the shark survival feature “White,” with Katherine McNamara co-starring, producers said.
The film is directed by Jake West. According to a project synopsis, the story follows a struggling actress whose private jet crashes into the Pacific.
According to the synopsis, stranded with a satellite phone, she reaches her studio boss (Beckinsale) before a marine biologist (McNamara) warns the crash site is the White Shark Café.
Beckinsale will also serve as an executive producer. Yariv Lerner, Dominic Burns, Crawford Anderson-Dillon and Sky Morfopoulos are producing, authorities said.
Highland Film Group is handling worldwide sales, according to the company.
