KAY COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — A single-vehicle crash on northbound I-35 claimed the life of a Kansas man on August 10 at 12:30 p.m.
Emergency crews responded to the accident, where a vehicle left the roadway and struck a cable barrier before crashing into a culvert. The impact caused the vehicle to become airborne and roll.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), 76-year-old Steven Slough was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. No additional injuries were reported, and there were no lane closures following the incident.
