Rudy Giuliani Injured in New Hampshire Car Crash

CONCORD, N.H. — Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, 81, sustained multiple injuries, including a fractured vertebra, following a car crash on Interstate 93 on Saturday night.

Authorities said Giuliani was a passenger in a rented Ford Bronco driven by his spokesperson, Ted Goodman, when their vehicle was rear-ended by a Honda HR-V at approximately 9 p.m. Both vehicles sustained significant damage after colliding with the highway median.

Goodman, the driver of the Bronco, and the 19-year-old woman driving the Honda sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Giuliani was taken to a trauma center for his injuries, which included lacerations and contusions. He has been advised by doctors to avoid bending, lifting, or twisting, though they expect a full recovery.

According to authorities, the crash's cause is under investigation, with no charges currently filed. Witnesses reported that moments before the accident, Giuliani and Goodman encountered a distressed woman who sought assistance. However, it was later revealed that the reported incident was unrelated to the crash.

Giuliani addressed the incident and his recovery in a video statement, expressing gratitude for his safety and the support he has received.

This incident follows Giuliani's continued involvement in media and politics, including recent commentary on the Presidential Medal of Freedom awarded to him by former President Donald Trump.
