Northbound Interstate 75 near the Linn Street overpass reopened Friday afternoon, May 22, after an oil spill shut traffic for nearly four hours.

A few semitrucks were involved in the crash shortly after noon amid rainy conditions, according to Ohio Department of Transportation spokesperson Matt Bruning.

As of 4 p.m., a state traffic dashboard still showed northbound slowdowns extending toward Florence, Kentucky.

Bruning said traffic was moving again. Authorities said no information on injuries was immediately available.
