All lanes of I-265 South near Shelbyville Road are reopened following an injury crash on Friday night.
According to LMPD, a disabled vehicle was parked on the shoulder when another vehicle collided with it. The second vehicle had two occupants, both transported to the hospital.
The male driver, 30 years old, suffered life-threatening injuries. The female passenger, 28 years old, sustained injuries but is expected to survive.
Occupants of the disabled vehicle exited prior to the crash and were unharmed.
LMPD's traffic unit is investigating, and authorities stated no criminal charges are anticipated at this time.
