Fuel truck crashes into Texas TV station as driver flees in caught-on-camera hit-and-run.

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A involving a fuel truck and a pickup occurred around 12:30 a.m. at Southeast 11th Avenue and Pierce Street.

The driver of a Ram 2500 reportedly ran a red light and collided with the fuel truck, which was traveling south on Pierce Street. The impact pushed the pickup over the curb and through the station's security fence, ultimately crashing into the ABC 7 studios' parking lot. The fuel truck then struck a steel support beam at the northwest corner of the building, with part of the security fence penetrating a window.

The fuel truck driver was uninjured. However, the driver of the Ram and two passengers exited the vehicle and fled the scene. Authorities have since identified the driver, whose parents arrived shortly after he contacted them about the incident.

Emergency services responded to the scene, and an investigation is ongoing. No additional injuries have been reported.
