KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — Two individuals were rescued from a crash on Interstate 77 early Sunday morning.
The single-vehicle accident occurred around 8 a.m. near mile marker 114 southbound, as reported by the Sissonville Fire Department.
Crews found a vehicle that had struck an embankment between the Pocatalico and Tuppers Creek exits.
Both occupants were extricated from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital for evaluation; their injuries remain undisclosed.
No further details have been released, and an investigation is ongoing.
