A 49-year-old man from Forsyth died in a crash Saturday afternoon on Interstate 94, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The man was driving a Dodge Ram 2500 westbound when he veered off the roadway and struck a guardrail. The vehicle then rolled down an embankment and landed on its roof.
Emergency responders transported the man to Holy Rosary Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities confirmed he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, and they noted that alcohol, drugs, and speed are not suspected to have contributed to the crash.
