BILLINGS — A single-vehicle crash on Airport Road resulted in one fatality and a serious injury late Monday night.
The incident occurred just after 10 p.m. west of the North 27th Street roundabout. According to authorities, one person died, and another sustained serious injuries. The Billings Police Department (BPD) Crash Team is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Westbound traffic on Airport Road is closed from the roundabout to Stoney Ridge Circle as investigations continue.
This crash marks the second deadly incident on Airport Road this month. Earlier in May, two sisters, Alicia and Alexia Half, died following a separate one-vehicle crash east of the roundabout, with two others injured in that incident.
