LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead following a late-night crash in east Louisville on Thursday.
The incident occurred around 10:12 p.m. at Ormsby Lane and Westport Road, near Westport Village.
According to Louisville Metro Police (LMPD), a man and a woman were in the vehicle when it veered off Ormsby Lane and struck a utility pole. Both occupants were transported to a local hospital; the man succumbed to his injuries, while the woman's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating the incident. No further details have been released at this time.
