One individual died in a car crash Sunday night on I-70 near Kingdom City, Callaway County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the incident occurred around 8 p.m. A 2001 Chevrolet S-10 was traveling westbound when it veered off the right side of the roadway and overturned multiple times.
During the rollover, a 61-year-old male passenger from Maryland Heights, Mo., was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:44 p.m. MSHP reported that the passenger was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Emergency responders from MSHP arrived on the scene, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
