BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — A fatal crash has closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Boynton Beach as of 2:41 p.m., according to authorities.
The incident occurred just north of Boynton Beach Boulevard at mile marker 57. Two vehicles were involved, and multiple injuries have been reported.
Emergency services, including the Boynton Beach Fire Rescue, are on the scene providing medical aid. Authorities have confirmed one fatality.
Traffic is being diverted at Boynton Beach Boulevard, and drivers are urged to use alternate routes while the investigation and cleanup efforts are underway. The lane closures are expected to last for several hours.
