Montgomery Police Investigate Fatal Train-Vehicle Collision
MONTGOMERY, AL — A train versus vehicle collision on Monday morning claimed the life of a 57-year-old man.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:43 a.m. at the intersection of Davenport Parkway and Bowman Street. Upon arrival, officers found the driver, Steve Smith of Montgomery, suffering from fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in connection with the accident. Montgomery police are currently investigating the cause of the collision.
