Kimberly Anne Mathers Pleads No Contest to Charges in Michigan

Warren, MI – February 16, 2023, 2:41 p.m. – Kimberly Anne Mathers, 51, entered a no contest plea to charges related to an alleged hit-and-run incident involving her vehicle earlier this month.

Mathers was driving a white Range Rover when she collided with a parked silver Ram pickup truck, pushing it approximately 50 feet from its original position. She is charged with operating while impaired and failing to report the accident. Prosecutors stated she did not stop after the crash.

According to the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office, Mathers could face up to 93 days in jail, with sentencing scheduled for June 17. Authorities confirmed that she exhibited signs of impairment during the incident.

Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido emphasized the dangers of driving under the influence, stating, “Driving under the influence is not a lapse in judgment — it is a deliberate decision that puts every person on the road at risk.”

Mathers has a history of legal issues, including past charges related to substance abuse. In 2015, she was arrested for driving her off the road, an incident she labeled a suicide attempt.

Mathers was previously married to rapper Eminem, sharing a daughter, Hailie Jade Scott.
