Emergency crews are responding to a vehicle crash on Interstate 70 in Columbia Saturday afternoon.
The crash occurred on eastbound I-70 at exit 124, just before Stadium Boulevard, at approximately 2:41 p.m. Authorities confirmed multiple vehicles were involved.
Witnesses reported at least one vehicle went through the guardrail, leading to significant debris on the roadway. Emergency medical services are on-site to assist the injured.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, lane closures are in effect while responders manage the scene and conduct an investigation. Towing services have been requested to clear the vehicles involved.
