SILVER LAKE, KS — A fatal one-vehicle crash occurred on July 22, just south of Silver Lake in northwest Shawnee County.
According to the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office, the single vehicle left the roadway around 5:15 p.m. and rolled over. Emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly after the incident. The driver, identified as a 34-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities reported that no additional injuries were reported, and the accident is currently under investigation. The vehicle was towed from the site, and the roadway was temporarily closed to facilitate cleanup and investigation.
