Two Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-76 Near Commerce City
COMMERCE CITY, CO — Two individuals sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle collision involving several cars and a semitrailer on eastbound Interstate 76 early Monday, according to Colorado State Patrol.
Authorities responded to the incident at approximately 4:20 a.m. According to law enforcement, the crash involved at least five cars and a semitrailer. Paramedics transported two people to local hospitals; their conditions are currently unknown.
As of 7:30 a.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation reported that eastbound I-76 has reopened between 88th and 96th avenues.
