LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Three separate crashes in Las Vegas on Sunday night resulted in critical injuries to an e-bike rider and two pedestrians, police confirmed.
The first incident occurred at approximately 8:08 p.m. on E. Tropicana Avenue, west of Koval Lane. A 2016 Land Rover Discovery struck a pedestrian attempting to cross outside of a marked crosswalk, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD).
Minutes later, at 8:11 p.m., a second collision occurred on S. Eastern Avenue, south of Warm Springs Road. A pedestrian crossing outside of a marked crosswalk was hit by a 2025 Toyota RAV4. Both pedestrians were transported to UMC with life-threatening injuries.
The third crash was reported around 11:16 p.m. near Sahara and Burnham avenues, just west of Eastern Avenue. Investigators stated that a man riding an e-bike ran a red light and was struck by a 2016 Honda CR-V. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities reported that all three drivers remained at the scenes and did not exhibit signs of impairment. LVMPD's Fatal Detail is currently investigating all three collisions.
