JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A fatal crash on I-65 northbound occurred at 5:30 a.m. Saturday near the 100 North overpass.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, the accident involved one vehicle and resulted in a single fatality. The driver, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
I-65 remains open as the incident occurred off the east side of the interstate. Authorities have not provided further details at this time.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
