DERRY, N.H. – A driver was killed in a crash involving a passenger car and a dump truck on Wednesday afternoon.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Route 28 near the intersection of East Derry Road. According to authorities, the accident involved one passenger vehicle and a dump truck.
Emergency responders from the Derry Fire Department and Police Department arrived on the scene to provide medical aid. Despite their efforts, the driver of the passenger car was pronounced dead at the scene. The age and identity of the victim have not yet been released.
Authorities stated that road conditions and visibility were clear at the time of the accident. The incident prompted lane closures on Route 28 for several hours as officials conducted an investigation and cleared the wreckage.
