Box Truck Accident in Massachusetts Injures Driver
A Massachusetts driver was injured early Saturday when his box truck veered off the road and struck trees, according to State Police.
The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Route 93 southbound. The driver, 28 years old, was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Emergency responders arrived on the scene and transported him to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities reported that the truck careened off the highway and into a wooded area. The crash did not involve any other vehicles. The left lane of Route 93 was closed for approximately two hours while crews worked to remove the truck and clear the area.
State Police are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. No additional information is available at this time.
