MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — A vehicle crash on northbound I-270 at Exit 10 resulted in a car being split in half and left abandoned in nearby woods, according to Montgomery County Fire Rescue.
Emergency crews arrived on the scene and conducted a search using thermal imaging cameras, but no occupants were found inside the vehicle. The driver was later located walking uninjured along Montgomery Village Avenue.
Authorities are investigating the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. There have been no reported injuries or fatalities, and the investigation is ongoing.
