CALDWELL, Idaho — A Caldwell man was killed Monday night in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of E. Linden St. and S. Kimball Ave.
According to Idaho State Police, the crash occurred around 9:20 p.m. on June 8, 2026. The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Miguel Vasquez. An autopsy is pending to assess his injuries.

Vasquez was transporting three juvenile passengers at the time of the crash. They were all transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance. The driver of the GMC was also hospitalized and later arrested, with charges pending.
The intersection was closed for approximately three and a half hours to allow emergency responders to assist and for investigators to process the scene. It is unclear if any of the vehicle occupants were wearing seat belts.
