MERIDIAN, Idaho — An 18-year-old motorcyclist died Monday afternoon following a collision with a box truck at East Ustick Road and North Locust Grove Road.

The Ada County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Tucker Malloy of Meridian. Authorities reported that Malloy succumbed to traumatic blunt force injuries, and his death has been ruled an accident.

Idaho State Police stated Malloy was headed northbound on Locust Grove when a 34-year-old driver from Caldwell turned left from southbound Ustick, resulting in the crash. Malloy, the sole occupant of the , was at the scene, despite wearing a helmet.

Emergency responders were on site, and the investigation is ongoing. No additional injuries were reported from the box truck driver.
