PASCO CO., Fla. — District leaders announced that kindergartners must be fully potty-trained before the school year begins, effective immediately.
According to the Pasco County Schools, nearly every elementary school reported an average of 10 students unable to independently use the restroom at the start of last year.
The mandate aims to ensure a smoother transition for students and reduce disruptions during class time.
The district encourages parents to prepare their children ahead of the scheduled start date.
