PITT COUNTY, NC — A Clayton woman was arrested Sunday, March 29, following a hit-and-run crash that injured another person in Greenville.
According to Greenville Police, 32-year-old Janasia Moore faces charges of felony hit and run resulting in injury.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. at the Cook Out drive-thru located at 711 Memorial Drive. Authorities reported that Moore failed to stop immediately after the collision.
Witnesses indicated that Moore was aware her vehicle was involved in a crash that caused injury but did not remain at the scene, investigators said.
Medical assistance was provided to the injured party on-site. Pitt County records show Moore was released on a $10,000 bond shortly after her arrest.
She is slated to appear in court on Monday, March 30.
