BROOKFIELD, Wis. – A motorcycle crash involving a dump truck injured one person on Wednesday, April 30, at approximately 5:39 p.m.
According to the Brookfield Police Department, the incident occurred near 128th Street and Capitol Drive. The initial investigation indicated the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Capitol Drive when they collided with the dump truck, which was making a turn from eastbound Capitol to northbound 128th Street.
The operator of the motorcycle sustained significant injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The dump truck driver was uninjured and is cooperating with authorities.
Emergency responders from the Brookfield Police Department arrived at the scene, and the Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting in the investigation. No further details regarding lane closures or towing operations have been released at this time.
