Brighton, CO – A pedestrian was killed Saturday night after being struck by two vehicles on Interstate 76.
The incident occurred near East Bromley Lane at approximately 7:15 p.m., according to the Brighton Police Department. The victim, a 33-year-old man whose identity is pending release, was attempting to cross the highway when he was hit.
Emergency responders declared the man dead at the scene. His identity will be confirmed by the Adams County Coroner's Office.
Both drivers involved remained at the scene and are cooperating with investigators, authorities said. Eastbound lanes of I-76 were closed for several hours for cleanup and investigation, reopening shortly after 11 p.m.
