Truck Crashes into Eastern Bank Branch in Everett, Massachusetts
Everett, MA — A truck crashed into an Eastern Bank branch at 1763 Revere Beach Parkway shortly after 7 a.m. on Thursday.
Authorities reported that the vehicle drove completely through the building, creating a significant hole at the front. Debris was scattered around the exterior.
Everett Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene, securing the area with yellow police tape. Everett Police Chief Paul Strong stated that the driver likely experienced a medical episode prior to the crash.
Both occupants of the truck were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The building suffered major damage, and a building inspector has been called to assess the structure.
