BOISE BENCH, Idaho — A serious pedestrian accident occurred Thursday afternoon at Emerald Street and Curtis Road, causing lane closures.
Authorities confirmed that a pedestrian was struck by a driver at approximately 2:41 p.m. The victim sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The Boise Police Department reported the area was partially blocked for several hours as officers conducted their investigation. All lanes have since been reopened to traffic.
