Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in Denver

DENVER – Investigators are seeking leads in a incident that seriously injured a bicyclist in Denver's Chaffee Park neighborhood on August 25, at approximately 6:32 p.m.

According to Denver Police, a cyclist was struck by a Mercedes Benz SUV traveling south on North Vallejo Street at the intersection of West 50th Avenue. The driver allegedly ran a stop sign, hitting the cyclist who was headed west on West 50th Avenue before fleeing the scene.

Authorities released an image of a similar SUV and are urging anyone with information to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. The incident is under investigation, with the case number 25-456140.
