NEW ORLEANS — A deadly crash involving a New Orleans Police Department officer is under investigation after a bicyclist was killed Thursday night.
The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. at the intersection of General De Gaulle and Garden Oaks Drive in Algiers. Authorities reported that the bicyclist was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to injuries.
