BURLINGTON, N.D. — A 60-year-old man died Sunday night, March 8, after a crash on a gravel road near Minot.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Paul Hauser of Foxholm was driving a 2001 Polaris Magnum 500 northbound in the 7200 block of 87th Street Northwest around 7:35 p.m. He lost control of the vehicle after hitting a muddy area, which caused it to leave the road and overturn in the ditch.
Hauser was transported to Trinity Hospital in Minot, where he was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash. Burlington is approximately 5 miles northwest of Minot.
