Julian Fleming, a former Penn State wide receiver, has been charged with homicide by vehicle while intoxicated in connection to a fatal ATV accident that killed his girlfriend, Alyssa Boyd, on May 23.
According to state police at Towanda, Fleming, 23, was operating an ATV in Columbia Township when the vehicle crashed, resulting in Boyd's death. Fleming sustained serious injuries during the incident. Reports indicate that neither Fleming nor Boyd were wearing safety gear at the time of the accident.
Fleming played college football at Ohio State before transferring to Penn State.
