MUSKEGON, Mich. — A 22-year-old driver died in a crash early Thursday morning in Cedar Creek Township.
Isaiah Kooiman was found deceased inside his truck after it rolled over multiple times on East River Road, between Ewing Road and Holton-Duck Lake Road, according to the Muskegon County Sheriff's Office.
The incident was reported shortly after midnight. Deputies located Kooiman's vehicle near a bend in the road, where evidence indicates it left the pavement before rolling over.
Authorities believe speed was a contributing factor in the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
