CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — A woman died from injuries sustained in a multi-vehicle crash on Hull Street Road at Skinquarter Road on Monday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:38 a.m. when Niurka Pena, 35, driving a Hyundai SUV, attempted to turn left from Skinquarter Landfill onto Hull Street. As she crossed the eastbound lanes, her vehicle was struck by a Ford F-150.
Authorities reported that both Pena, a passenger in her vehicle, and the driver of the F-150 were transported to area hospitals. On Tuesday afternoon, officials confirmed that Pena had succumbed to her injuries.
